Random RamblingsWell, it's a little more than a week into hunting season and the fall test is behind us. It's that time of the year that everybody has eagerly awaited, anticipating the fruit of their training labors. With that however, the training year is essentially over and each of us has gone our separate ways. In doing so, the board hopes that each of you were able to obtain what you wanted from your membership in the club this year. If something was lacking from your perspective, please do not hesitate to bring suggestions for improvement to our attention. Given this, we have reached the slow time of the year for club activities, you will probably not receive much correspondence until we announce our December/January board meeting. As always, please feel free to attend the board meetings if so interested. The December meeting will be announced once it has been established. Further, if anybody is interested in holding one of the board positions or acting as test chairman or secretary for next year's tests, please contact us with your interest. With that, we wish each of you a safe and enjoyable hunting season. 2002 Spring TestThis year's spring test results were nothing short of phenomenal! Many, many congratulations to all of the folks that test. The results are available here. The fall test results will be promulgated once they have

Information on West Nile VirusWe would encourage anybody who is interested in attending the chapter's board meetings to please do so. Meetings are kept fairly informal and infrequent. Rarely will there be more than four in an entire year. Our next board meeting will probably be sometime in December. An announcement will be circulated once it has been set. Alternatively, please feel free to e-mail your comments to any of the board numbers at their addresses listed within this newsletter and it will be presented during the meeting for discussion. |
CongratulationsWell our own and humble John MacNeal made it into the ranks
of NAVHDA judges. Congratulations on the hard work and effort at making
the grade! NAVHDA InternationalJust in time for the training season, NAVHDA International has introduced an on-line store on their web site. A person can purchase educational books and videos, obtain and renewal their international membership, and get breed and parental testing reports, and find numerous other NAVHDA logo items such as decals, pins, stickers, etc. at the gift shop. Lastly, after just having laid another another tax season to rest for a year, I would like to point out that tax deductible donations can be made at this area of their web site as well.
